What are your car rental requirements?

Must be aged 18 to 72 years old, Singapore Class 3 driver’s license. We welcome probational drivers too!

Is there any deposit required?

There is no deposit required for any of our Singapore car rentals.

What happens if I cancel or reschedule my car rental? Are there any additional charges?

No additional charges for rescheduling of booking 14 days before the actual date of reservation. There will be no refund if Dream Car Leasing needs to replace the hirer’s car for another due to unforeseen circumstances such as accident, breakdown or technical issues.

What is your collection time and returning time?

Our collection time is at 6pm while the return time is at 5pm.

What happens if I do not return the car on time?

For unpunctual returns: 

Grace period of 15 minutes. 

Afterwards, we charge $10 per subsequent 30 minutes.

What should I do if my vehicle breaks down?

Report to the service provider immediately. Afterwards, a replacement vehicle will be provided (subject to availability), otherwise prorated discount voucher will be issued. No additional charges will be applied. 

Take note that the following DO NOT constitute as breakdowns: Punctured Tyres, Empty Petrol Tank, Flattened Battery, Loss of keys or Keys locked inside the vehicle. For the above misfortune, a $50 fee* will be charged.

Weekdays (8pm – 11am): $100

Weekends (full day): $100

Do I need to refill the petrol tank?

The hirer should refill the petrol tank to the same level as when he/she collected the vehicle. If the tank is not refueled to the same level, the cost of petrol plus a service charge of $10 will be levied.

Are the cars covered with insurance?

All our rental cars are covered with comprehensive insurance.

What are the payment modes?

We accept cash/nets/paynow/paylah only.

Can I drive the car to Malaysia?

Yes, all our Singapore rental cars can be driven to Malaysia with an additional surcharge. The furthest is up till KL city area, whereas places like Genting and anywhere further is prohibited. You can find out more from our staff if you are not sure about it!

Can someone other than myself drive the vehicle?

Only the hirer is permitted to drive the rented vehicle. Other drivers are subjected to an additional driver’s insurance. Additionally, the driver’s license and passport or identity card must be presented at the time of rental in addition to driver/s meeting Dream Car’s motor insurance criteria.
